Lepidus
Weave Description Lepidus is a weave closely related to Crotalus (hence the second Latin name for a specific species of Crotalus; in this case Crotalus Lepidus; banded rock rattlesnake). It is also closely related to the Medo-Persian, Sweetpea, Fieldstone grouping of weaves including Atheris, Sistrurus, and Miliarius. It combines the stacking ring configuration of the Medo-Persian, Sweetpea, Fieldstone weaves with the interlocking ring configuration of Crotalus, Cobra / Hinge, and Viperscale. This weave tends to bend slightly to one side as you lengthen it. I used 20ga 5.75mm ID rings when making this weave.
