Something Blue
Weave Description Name inspired by my husband's thread inquiring as to the uniqueness of this weave and an old poem: Something old, something new, Something borrowed, Something blue, And a silver sixpence in her shoe. It is a variant/combination of a few weaves. I was initially toying with Half Persian 3 in 1 and it eventually evolved to this. It has two different flexes depending on which side is up. Green/Purple side out allows for the greatest curve while all green out yield limited curve. Something like comparing a 'U' to a ')'. The edges are Three Quarters Persian. The middle row is one “layer” of rings. Each middle ring goes through six other rings. Four green rings and two purple. 16g 5/16" Anodized Aluminum Weave Tags (Click to Search Weaves)European, Persian, Band, VariantRelated ArticlesNone! please consider submitting one!Random Gallery Items Tagged as using this Weave [Show All]None! please consider submitting one! |
