Byzantine Variant 1
Weave Description In this Byzantine variant, each little Box section contains an extra set of two (vertical) rings. These are run through the successive connector ring, making each connector ring horizontal, instead of alternating as is seen in Byzantine. Because of this, each cell is not stable and can be manually manipulated between cell direction configurations. This makes the weave unstable. Celtic Half Byzantine is a similar weave that fixes the floppy ring problem. .057” (1.45mm) galvanized steel 1/4" (6.35mm) mandrel. .272" (6.91mm) ID AR of 4.8 Weave Tags (Click to Search Weaves)European, Chain, Variant, HelmRelated ArticlesNone! please consider submitting one!Random Gallery Items Tagged as using this Weave [Show All] |
