Weave Description
This is a patch based on killeberg's Helm Flower Chain necklace turned into a sheetweave. As the chain is like a single row of Dragonscale I went with the dragon theme for the name.
Notice the crossed Japanese 6 in 1 connections with a small ring passing through a larger ring at 90 degrees, one of my favorite details with the weave. Also notice the way some closures are forced open slightly by the tension the weave is under. The weave naturally wants to curl, and when it is forced flat some closures spread.
It's tough to weave, and impossible if the rings are not added in the right order, but great for structural applications as it's quite inflexible.
