Spiral 8 in 2
AKA: Double Spiral Weave Description Also called Double Spiral, or Rope Weave, this weave is Spiral 4 in 1 with all of the rings doubled. In contrast to Spiral, this variant keeps its spiral form without need for affixing the chain ends. The sample displayed uses stainless steel rings made from .040" (1.02mm / 19 SWG) wire wrapped on 11/64" (4.36mm) mandrel. With a measured ID of .196" (4.98mm), these rings bear an AR of 4.9.
