Safety in Numbers Chain

Weave Description
This is the chain form of Safety in Numbers.

Safety in Numbers Chain is similar to Vipera Berus, but unlike Vipera Berus, which is a European 4 in 1 based weave, the base of this weave is a 1-1 (or 2-2 chain in the kinged version). The horizontal 1-1 chains are connected with vertically opposite berused rings. (You can also berus the rings in the same direction if you wish).

The sample shown is the un-kinged version, made from TRL's 16g swg 7/32" ID ice AA rings, AR ~3.6. This size is suitable for a fluid piece of jewelry. The ideal AR, in my opinion, is ~3.4. The minimum AR for this weave is 3.15 (made with Zili's 16g swg 3/16" ID bright aluminum), which makes a very tight and dense chain.
