Hilt Chain Sheet
Weave Description Hilt Chain Sheet is made up of loosely woven Hilt Chains interconnected in rows. Connector rings are added on each side, and done so with a Full Persian stitching method. This in turn causes the Hilt Chains to be interwoven. The grain runs in the same direction. This weave requires a very large aspect ratio. It locks up at 10.3. Sample made out of .048" (18SWG/1.2mm) stainless steel, 15/32" (11.9mm) mandrel (.556" ID, AR of 11.6).
