Celtic Wings Sheet
Weave Description This weave continues Celtic Wings into a sheet. What you end up with is a ribbed effect. The wings turn into connector rings. Smaller rings could potentially be used for the connector rows, and would need to when weaving at ARs approaching the minimum. The displayed sample is composed of stainless steel rings made out of .045" (1.14mm) wire, which is slightly below 18SWG. 9/64" (3.57mm) (.154" ID, AR of 3.4) 15/64" (5.95mm) (.262" ID, AR of 5.8) This combination makes the weave slightly loose. The difference between the outer diameter of the small rings and the inner diameter of the large rings could stand to be less (even though it's only 0.018" (0.46mm)). An AR difference closer to 2.0 between the ring sizes would be more ideal as this would make the weave more dense and appear more full.
