Staggered Captive Hilt Chain Sheet
Weave Description A weave that extends Captive Hilt Chain (CHC) into a staggered sheet. Hilt Chain is six-sided Full Persian 6 in 1, which, when divided in half yields a triplicate weave. The same principle was applied as seen in Staggered Captive Inverted Round Sheet and Staggered Bore Worm Sheet, with this exception having the connector rings not just pass through captives, but also to one extra ring on each CHC chain. Alternate connection methods are possible. Stainless steel rings used .048" (1.22mm/18SWG) wire, 5/16" (7.94mm) mandrel, .355" ID, AR of 7.4. This ring size provides some flexibility both ways. However, the two captive rings per cell version would be too tight at this AR.
