Crescent Moon

Weave Description
Playing around with my personal 'pet' weave, that is Harvest Moon, I decided to set orbital rings around Harvest Moon's paired rings, on both sides, that are captured the same time by the single neighbor rings.

This weave is very AR sensitive, as even a tiny bit too large orbital/captive rings tend to wobble, but too tight ones simply are not weavable. So a bit experimentation may be needed to be successful. The rings used here for the basic Harvest Moon are BA 1.6mm coiled on 8.0mm mandrel, with a final AR of 5.35; the added o/c rings are made from the same wire, coiled on a 9.5mm mandrel, closed-ring AR of 6.4. Other AR combinations are possible, down to Harvest Moon's minimum AR, if the added rings are chosen around the basis chain's AR plus around one.
