Arkheris

Weave Description
This weave was created when playing with GSG variations. First step was modifying to AGSG, what was further modified to Arkham; finally setting a further column of border rings in one layering direction already known from Atheris or Viperscale was used to cancel Arkham's inherent weave twist. The weave's name is derived from a combination its direct forerunner weave names. An additional 'goodie' is, that this one of the few 'collapsing-stable tunnel-weaves', that allow making of claspless elastic bracelets with the hidden rubber band method.

Stats: The sample was made from 1.6*9.0mm BA rings with a final AR of 6.0 - an AR of 5.5 has proven to be the weavable low AR limit, but showed the 'slip and lock' tendency and the weave twist also seen in Arkham especially at low ARs. So an AR of 5.6 should be a reasonable number for minimum AR, and an AR of 6.0 be optimum. A short AR6.9 test strip did also work well, but was not as attractive as I'd wish.
