Pacman
Weave Description While this weave was born out of a combination of Harvest Moon and Byzantine, it was reduced down to its essential, repeating six-ring core consisting of a single cell of Box and a two-ring Moebius with its rings rotated 90 degrees to each other. The alternating elements that aren't structurally stable on their own support and stabilize each other's ring orientation and position in the weave. The sample shown in the image was woven from AR ~5.1 rings; the lower piece was twisted a bit to show the ring interaction better. The tightest weaveable piece that is already stiff was made from AR~4.8 rings; using an AR of ~5.5 and above the result looks imho already a bit too floppy.
