DescriptionCobra / Hinge is a European sheet weave that is 6 in 1. It is based on European 4 in 1, but with each ring not only passing through two rings in each of its adjacent, alternating lean direction rows, but also through one ring in the previous rows to them on each side.During construction, instead of adding a ring through 2 as you would in a sheet of E4-1, you pass through 3 in Cobra/Hinge. Four rows equal one full iteration in terms of continuation, and a continual sheet has a ribbed appearance with alternating 2 rows righ angle, 2 rows low. It is important for each ring to pass through the rings in the proper order, as alternate connection types are possible, especially in the right ARs. See also Cobra / Hinge Round. .048" (1.2mm) stainless steel 5.25mm (.207") mandrel .231" ID AR of 4.8 At this AR, the sheet has quite a bit of side to side flexibility, but less the other way.
