Description

One single 13-ring unit of the hexagonally expanding sheet weave Captive Orbital Hex Cage.

4 types of rings are present:

3 sets of doubled horizontal corner rings (large)
3 inner triangularly situated rings (small)
1 captive ring inside triangle, sandwiched between corner rings (small)
3 orbital rings (large)

.080" (2.03mm) aluminum
15/32" (11.9mm), 5/16" (7.94mm) mandrel
.516" (13.1mm), .341" (8.66mm) ID
AR of 6.4, AR of 4.3

The unit can be made in a single ring size starting at a minimum AR of 6.6, and is best kept close to this value.
