Description

Staggered Quad Reinforced Inverted Round Sheet takes single chains of Quad Reinforced Inverted Round and connects them together, side by side. The staggered part of the name stems from the fact that there are connector rings on each side of the sheet between each QRIR chain which are offset from each other.

This version of the sheet has two reinforced rings per QRIR cell. It was a bit of a struggle to find a ring size combination that works with this version when the initial (R3) piece I made was a breeze.

Each of the three ring types present is of .048" (1.2mm) stainless steel wire

19/64" (7.54mm) mandrel
.326" ID
AR of 6.8

Reinforced Rings:
21/64" (8.33mm) mandrel
.378" ID
AR of 7.9

Connector rings between chains:
33/128" (6.55mm) mandrel
.290" ID
AR of 6.0

The sheet is quite rigid.
