DescriptionAfter constructing my initial Hourglass Dodecahedron with three "horizontal" rings inside the triangles of each Hour Glass Unit, I opted to assemble the double ring version. Originally I tried for a two-tone, as per the weave entry sample picture with stainless steel and bronze in 7.4 AR (7.3 bronze, due to differing springbacks), but it ended up far too loose. The rings which connect the bronze ones were replaced with AR of 6.6 brass: it was much easier to keep track of that way when swapping all 60 rings. I ended up with a nice looking three-tone Hourglass Dodecahedron with a small amount of slack.
Later, I found AR of 7.1 to be the minimum for this version of the sphere.
