DescriptionTOT Cube is a dimensionally expanding weave which applies the tessellation established with Japanese 4 in 1 Cube to interconnected Tetra Orb units.
First chained as TOT Chain, then expanded laterally as TOT Sheet before becoming this.
Significantly more compact than Tetraorb cube since protruding rings integrate into subsequent Tetra Orbs.
Approximately 4x4x4 cube shown. The three visible faces offer a finished look, absent of the protruding rings and orbitals
Each square in the top face is absent of two tetrahedron rings, each of which makes two orbital connections when added.
The side faces shown have them, although they're a little harder to see in the picture.
The three opposite faces contain the outside edge protruding rings.
.048" (1.22mm) WD
5/16" (7.94mm) mandrel
stainless steel orbital rings:
.344" (8.74mm) ID
AR of 7.2
bronze tetrahedron + protruding rings:
.350" (8.89mm) ID
AR of 7.3
This AR combination makes a very tight cube. This is around the minimum AR for this weave.
