Description

Wyrmscale is made by swapping the European 4 in 1 basis of Dragonscale with that of European 6 in 1. The resulting "Dragonscale 6 in 1", which has two interwoven E6-1s requires larger rings to execute.

Making this weave is a bit harder than standard DS. Even once established, it is far too easy to accidentally pass one of the added rings through another of the same size since each interconnects 50% more rings than standard DS. There are more places for the ring to get lost. Sometimes while expanding the sheet laterally, the small rings tend to fall into the incorrect groove between those of the adjacent, offset, previously completed row.

Of course, this could have at least something to do with the general looseness of the weave at the chosen ring sizes. Initially I attempted the weave with AR of 6.6, and AR of 9.1, but it became claustrophobic. With this established, and rather relaxed weave sample, experimentation in other ring sizes can be done by continuing it rather than starting anew.

As mentioned, the sample is loose. It's quite flexible, as far as Dragonscale is concerned.
