DescriptionI very much love Lorraine's Turkish Orbital earrings, so I made a go at it. I'm still obviously not super skilled at hammering the ends of the earrings (they're not the same length), but I think it turned out okay. I used the Turkish Orbital weave, 8mm blue Sodalite beads (instead of the green Kambaba Jasper that she used), 5x3mm TierraCast brand beaded leaf end caps, and some tiny leftover beads. The rings are bright aluminum AWG 20 gauge 3/16" rings with a stated AR of 6.0, which I think is just about right for this application, although I note that you do need to apply some pressure and make sure that your finding's end loop is pretty snug or the beads will pop out of the ring "cage" at the top and bottom.Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)Turkish OrbitalImages Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Bead, Bright Aluminium, Ear Plug, JewelleryWeave(s): Turkish Orbital |
