DescriptionSpiral 4 in 1 Web is made up of Spiral 4 in 1 segments that meet up at connection points. The connector rings themselves continue the helixical pattern in three directions. Connector rings pass through the first 2 rings of each Spiral chain emergence. The next ring of each Spiral chain beyond the connector passes through 5 as it also intersects the same ring in both of the other Spiral chains, (as well as its two successors). Each spiral segment twists in the same direction. There are 6 rings in each segment of Spiral Web plus 1 connector between each. 6 successive segments make a single hex loop, which is 42 rings around. Bronze connector rings, stainless steel and brass Spiral segments. This weave is extremely collapsey owing to the looseness of the chains. It maintains its look if pulled open evenly and held by a large craft ring, for example. Even when a loose sample is pulled out by hand, Spiral4-1 segments sometimes tend to kink. Multiple metal types were used to help keep track of the pattern during construction, but I prefer the look of it in a single metal. .032" (0.81mm) stainless, bronze, brass 17/128" mandrel .146", .148", .151" ID AR of 4.6/AR of 4.7 Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)Spiral WebImages Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Brass, Bronze, Materials, Sample, Sheet, Stainless SteelWeave(s): Spiral Web |
