Description

Tripled 2 in 1 Chain in alternating ring sizes with sets of 4 larger Orbit rings around each set of smaller rings.

This weave is related to Orbital Chain, except the orbiting rings don't undergo the stress of being held "captive" inside a connection point. They simply float around a smaller ring (or ring set), much like those found in Japanese Dragonscale, Helm Chain, Dragonscale, and Saturn, for example.

These "Orbit" rings, as I like to call them to distinguish from proper connection point "Orbitals" can be applied to other chain weaves with a simple compact repeating cell structure, such as Box Chain 4 in 1, Byzantine (either orbit the connectors, or Box segments), Full Persian 6 in 1, etc.

In most cases, Orbital weaves will have one orbital ring per connection point. Weaves with Orbit rings often have them in sets to cover the length of the cell.

This weave can be expanded into a Japanese 3 in 1-tessellated, hexagonally expanding web as "Orbit Japanese 9 in 3" (tripled "Orbit Japanese 3 in 1"), with the doubled dubbed Orbit Web Base 6 (a.k.a. "Orbit Japanese 6 in 2").
