Description

Done for a fan fest celebrating Severus Snape.
The symbolism: the story of his life and death. From light into darkness into light; the tears he shed from his father's abuse and from the bullying of the Marauders, the snake of Slytherin and the Death Eaters, being best friends with Lily, losing her, and then losing her to death, her blood poured out in a ruby crystal teardrop; his path to redemption, his death by the snake Nagini, his blood poured onto the floor of the Shrieking Shack, his memories, glistening with rainbows.
