DescriptionThis is a bracelet that I made for my grandson. It's blue and gold, as those are his school colors. I think the weave is Lylo, aka: Olivia Byzantine.
I used anodized aluminum rings from TRL, as follows.
18g(swg) 5/32 blue rings with an AR of 3.4 around the outside.
That wound up getting too tight so I used 19g(swg) 3/16, also blue, with an AR of 4.9 to connect the Byzantine units together. Doubled, of course.
The big gold rings are 16g(swg) 5/16, AR of 4.9
The smaller gold rings on the very ends are 18g(swg) 1/4 (AR of 5.5)
In hindsight I should have just used a tube clasp and saved myself the trouble of continuing the Byzantine around the ends, but I was determined. How could I call it Bike Chain if it didn't go all the way around? Lol
