DescriptionEssentially Dragonscale, with strings of 2 in 1 Chain berused through alternating rows. Each link of the 2-1 chain becomes an orbital/rhino of the smaller ring in each successive row of Dragonscale. On the "front" of the weave (left pic), each ring of the 2-1 chain crosses over only one of the larger Dragonscale rings--on the "backside" (right pic), each ring in the 2-1 chain crosses over two of the larger of the Dragonscale rings.Requires a slightly looser Dragonscale to make room for the berusing rings, enough so that the small rings will "slip" without the extra rings to lock them -- the example is made from 16swg 3/8" BA [AR of 6.3], 18swg 1/4" AA(black)[AR of 5.5] , and the berusing rings from 18swg 3/8" BZ [AR of 8.35], all from TRL, and all saw cut. As far as flexibility goes, it is a bit stiffer than your everyday Dragonscale, but still has very nice movement in one direction, akin to the way Dragonback behaves.
