DescriptionI decided to make a set of Buddhist prayer beads called Juzu beads for my Uncle. I let him choose the metal (sterling silver) and I chose the accents, copper and lapis lazuli. The large beads are 11/64" and the smaller ones are 5/32" with 9/32" copper rings for the end of each tassel. The weaves are Mobius Ball, JPL, and Half Byzantine. This was an interesting piece to make. Each part means something, even down to how many rings I used to make each bead. My Uncle says he has never seen a set made of chainmaille.Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)Byzantine, Jens Pind Linkage, Mobius BallImages Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Bead, Copper, Jewellery, Necklace, Sterling SilverWeave(s): Byzantine, Jens Pind Linkage, Mobius Ball |
