It's been a while. I'm getting back into maille for a micromaille project coming up, and I had to do something with the rings I had while I'm anxiously awaiting the arrival of my rings from TRL.

Here we have Moon42 joined into pentagons. The outer one is gold AA 14G 5/16", and the inner one is sterling (I think) silver, 22G 3/32"). Actually wasn't too bad...I learned the weave and created both of these items in about an hour or so. Unlike most chain weaves, this one was deceptively EASY to merge, even though I still managed to mangle a ring or two in the smaller example.

In case anyone's wondering, at these ARs the pentagons are somewhat loose, but largely maintain their form. Not sure if there's any practicality to it, but it was a fun project :)
