DescriptionWhile I was at the Continuum 2013 convention, I bought a book (more than one, actually) written by one of the guests of honour, which she signed. I wanted to read it, but I had no bookmark. I did, however, find a large butterfly-clip in one of my vest pockets (I have no idea why it was there) and I had links left over from making my watch strap. So I decided to make a bookmark while at the con, similar to the macrame bookmarks I had made in the past, but with chainmaille.European-4-in-1, Steel links (silver) (ID=6mm, OD=8mm, WD=1mm, AR=6), Brass links (silver) (ID=5.6mm, OD=8mm, WD=1.2mm, AR=4.67), Rubber (EPDM) links (purple, blue, dark green) (ID=5mm, OD=9mm, WD=2mm, AR=2) The hardest part was stopping the links sliding back and forth along the bar of the butterfly-clip; I finally stabilized it to a degree by doubling over two of the rubber links and sliding them onto the butterfly-clip and positioning them so that they acted as an obstacle to the sliding. It was the best I could do with my limited resources.
