DescriptionI made this for a steampunk costume for Continuum 2013.Brass strips, bent and hammered copper wire, scrapbooking cogs, watch parts, brass filigree, plastic domes, Tritium Marker, hooks (from hook-and-eye set), black leather thonging, and of course, maille. The maille part of it was made with a mix of brass (gold and copper plated) (ID=5.6mm, OD=8mm, WD=1.2mm AR=4.67) and steel (gold plated) (ID=6mm, OD=8mm, WD=1mm, AR=6) links; European 4 in 1 and another weave I do not know the name of.
