DescriptionThis was a commission piece for a good friend whose wedding is coming up. She and her wife-to-be have a bit of a steam-punk/celtic thing going on with the theme, and their wedding colours are orange and plum. The main rings are bronze, and the coloured rings are anodized aluminum. All gauges are SWG. I chose a rainbow to celebrate the LGBT aspect of the wedding, but tried to emphasize the violet rings to match the colours. The bracelet and the main band of the necklace are Celtic Dawn, done with bronze 18G 5/16" ID and aluminum 18G 3/16 ID in the main Helm Chain, then bronze 19G 11/64" ID and 19G 1/8" ID for the fringe rings, with small opalescent clear beads added to help it stay stable. I found it was flopping around too much, because my ring sizes weren't quite the ideal ARs. The 'flowers' were done as Celtic Spikes, done with the same rings except the largest rings were 1/4" ID instead of 5/16". The spike flowers were connected to the band with the 1/8" ID rings.
