DescriptionThe completed frame of a chainmail house I'm building. The walls are Japanese 8 in 2 made up of .078" (~14 SWG / 1.98mm) aluminum wire, rings sized 3/16" (4.76mm), and 35/128" (6.95mm) (AR of 2.6 and AR of 3.8). The roof is Japanese 12 in 2 made up of .062" (16 SWG / 1.6mm) aluminum wire, rings sized 19/128" (3.77mm), and 19/64" (7.54mm) (AR of 2.6 and AR of 5.3). I added dormers! They are properly angled too, which worked out by coincidence. To install them, I had to add rings of a very small wire size (.025" / 0.635mm) in order to manage to pass through the tiny gap in the small rings in the J12-2. I decided to make the walls a little taller than the previous image shows. Next I will be adding windows, doors, and possibly a chimney.
