Indo Persian Hauberk

DescriptionThis piece I examined in the Nebraska Historical Museum and is a 19th Century welded/butted hauberk. In the picture you can see the places where they were welded and others where the rings are simply butted together. You can see that some of the welding is rather rough with large balls of metal and some of the rings look as if they were once split rings with a sizable overlap of wire.
