DescriptionThis is a Staggered Inverted Round chain with captive beads and a total length of 18". It's 20 ga. sterling, with IDs of 3.75mm and 5 mm. The beads are 4mm garnets, and there're approximately 2 beads per inch of maille.Lesson I learned, if you're using gems and you're not sure if they've been dyed or treated, tumble your rings to de-bur them before constructing the chain... Some of the cage links have turned pink-ish as a result of the deburring process. *shrug* I'll know better next time -- and it still looks pretty darn cool!
