DescriptionI got a bunch of watch parts to make some Steampunk things with and amongst them was a rather neat looking watch face. I decided that it would look even better wrapped in chainmail. This is my first wrap and I think it turned out rather well. The weave is a modified Alligator Back - instead of having the row of E4-1 down the middle, it is simply two rows of HP3-1 that go in opposite directions. It was the only way I could keep such a thin piece of metal captured without a lot of excess rings.Stats: TRL machine cut stainless steel; 20 ga (0.8 mm), 1/8" Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)Half Persian 3 Sheet 5 in 1, Half Persian 3 in 1Images Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Accessories, Stainless Steel, Watch, WrapWeave(s): Half Persian 3 Sheet 5 in 1, Half Persian 3 in 1 |
