DescriptionAmongst others, One And a Half Persian (called 'Apollo' by me) allows some modifications. Given, the AR is chosen high enough, the cells can be squished a bit flat, and locked by Rhino/Barrel-ing in that state. On the top chain two Barrel rings are used to lock cells that are squished in an alternating pattern; on bottom three rings per cell are used, here no alteration of squishing is done. More variants are possible, especially if you don't insist on using the same ring sizes for base chain and additions. BTW: I had NOT much luck with Orbiter, Rover and Fox variants - your mileage may vary. Stats: Both samples were made from 1.6*9.0mm (mandrel) BA rings with a final AR of 6.0; adjustments to given rings' AR can be done, as higher ARs (above six) allow more barreling rings, while lower ARs (down to maybe 5.6) allow just only one Rhino ring per cell.
