DescriptionI know this is only a plain ordinary 4x1 but to build something (anything) you have to have a beginning. Unlike regular rings each of these (and all that follow) have to be handmade one at a time. Each ring will be closed with a double knot, if the wire does not separate the rings (.025 stainless x.218 ID) will stay closed for the life of the completed piece. I have some slightly bigger rings (.025 stainless x .250 ID) those rings weigh .02 oz per 100 rings, these smaller rings (being .218 ID) should drop the weight down to .01 oz per hundred rings. If I get that, then it should work out to 10,000 rings per ounce, or 160,000 rings per pound. My goal is simple, a full suit of mail to wear under my full suit of plate.
