Description

This project started as a birthday gift for a friend of mine and is deeply rooted in her Norse heritage.
This was a experiment using the Tao3 and a pair of Tao5 units in an attempt to build an acorn shape. I also used an hourglass unit (thank you Grace for the idea) as the 'stem'
The center is a cobalt glass bead but a marble or ball bearing could be used in replacement depending on the appearance you're looking for.
The silver charm is etched with the Norse rune for 'Man' and represents intelligence and essentially everything that sets humans apart from animals.
I was recently forced to scrap this design due to an underestimate of her 5 yr old and his destructive nature :) See following design for the newly updated (and much stronger) version 2
