DescriptionWhen I figured out I was doing Staggered Byzantine Sheet across the grain (in the database as Staggered Byzantine Halves), I decided to make a sample chain with the grain, as well.
This weave is about as flexible as standard Byzantine, but is slightly more ring intensive. Rather than two connector rings between boxes, alternating connector ring pairs have three rings: one actually connecting the boxes, and each box having one extra hanging loose on one end.
14g 1/4" machine cut stainless steel rings, purchased
This image is part of my 100 rings (approximately) experiments.
Ring total: 106
