DescriptionA chemistry project I just completed, it is a model of a hydrogen cyanide molecule. The Nitrogen and Carbon are Kingsmaille (E 8-2) spheres and the hydrogen is J 8-2 cube, the nitrogen and hydrogen using orange and green anodized aluminum, respectively. The rest is made of stainless steel, in 18swg 5/16", 18swg 3/16", 16swg 3/16", 16swg 5/16", and 16swg wire to hold the "atoms" in place, so they don't move around on the chain, which is Full Persian 6-1 Grizzly. The Carbon atom used regular stainless steel and heat colored stainless steel, and was colored after the sphere had been assembled. It took a long time to plan out and make, but I think it turned out well.Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)European 8 in 2, Full Persian 6 in 1 Grizzly, Japanese 8 in 2Images Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): OtherWeave(s): European 8 in 2, Full Persian 6 in 1 Grizzly, Japanese 8 in 2 |
