Description

A necklace I made a while ago, matched set with the similar earrings. Silver, 0.8/3.25mm rings for the Euro-Persian hybrid strips, same rings for the simple 4-2 chain at the back.
The center piece is made of silver plate (think it was about 0.5mm thick). I made a half diamond in Euro 4-1 with same ring size and literally stitched it to the plate by threading 0.4mm wire through a series of very fine holes drilled along the edges of the plate. The plate was mirror polished and it sparkled through the weave when exposed to light, creating a very interesting effect.
