Description

The first edition of a scale mail petal skirt I'm making for a lovely lass in my acquaintance. The skirt consists of 1300 or so large nickel plated steel scales courtesy of The Ring Lord, another hundred brass scales from the same, and about 3400 hundred 5/16" ID 16g galvanized steel butted rings. The belt contains around 770 brass rings in the same size, and a buckle I got off of Amazon. The skirt ways 11.4 pounds in total.
As you can see, one of the rings came undone before taking this picture. The skirt ended up fitting quite tightly, to the point where it was pulling links apart. This will be corrected in the next edition.
