DescriptionThis gauntlet is very flexible, weighs about 5.2 lbs, and it took me about 70 hours to make it. It was my first attempt at such an item and it turned out amazingly well. The bracer part is 14g 3/8" rings in a 6-1 pattern. That goes up to the base of my palm and then I use a 90 degree seam to make it easy to close my hand. From there I use a snake skin weave with 14g 3/8" and 16g 1/4" rings for the back and sides of the main glove, and then a 14g 5/16" 4-1 weave for the palm. The fingers are made of 16g 3/16" rings in a 4-1 weave. This is my most complex piece yet and I can't wait to make the left gauntlet exactly the same. I can send more detailed pictures to those who message me.Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)European 4 in 1, Snake SkinImages Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Arm, Armour, Gauntlet, HandWeave(s): European 4 in 1, Snake Skin |
