DescriptionI was sad to see that while a few people had made dice pouches and one person brought up the idea of making a maille plier holster, no one had actually made a holster/pouch out of something other than expanding circle.
This is the cell phone holster I recently finished.
I used euro 4-1 for the majority of it and a small chain of persian 3-1 to go around the antena to keep the phone from acting like a bar of soap and flying out. The bottom of the holster is still euro 4-1, but i changed the direction to get a 90º angle (twice).
All made with 1/4" ID, 16 awg brite AL
482 Rings... or pretty close.
Hopefully more (and larger) pouches to come when i figure out how to cut steel rings more efficiently. Aluminum takes too much care and padded pliers to work with.
