DescriptionThis is a shot of the winding rig my brother-in-law made up for me out of 3/4 plywood for the winder base. I made the mandrels out of steel tubing that is used where I work. I bent the tubing to make crank handles. There are three sizes of mandrel: 1/4", 3/8", & 1/2". This is a beginning setup for me, as I am still new to this craft.I have a larger view on my website at: http://www.wideopenwest.com/~cabble/winder1.jpg Weave(s) Used (Click to View Weave)NoneImages Tags (Click to Search Gallery)Tag(s): Coiling, Crank, Handwind, Setup, Tools |
