Since I've run out of ideas for what to make, but I don't want to get rusty and I want to maille something, I've decided to go on a tutorial spree. They'll be mostly with photos, but maybe some with renders if I feel like it. I haven't used POV-Ray in a while. I made up my own list of weaves that could use tutorials, and sorted them by what I think is their level of importance. I'll get to them during my free time.

i've wanted to attempt writing some articles too. just waiting until i get a new computer, i can get my digital computer to download on my current one. also, can we get the list of weaves that need tutorials updated though? i'm wasn't sure if that was included in your new job discription or not.

I'll get around to it eventually. It's not high on my list since it's going to take about 3 hours to do it. Meanwhile, it takes you guys maybe 2 minutes to find a weave and check the articles section to see if one is already done, so don't be shy about using that last method Very Happy

Wow, my first posts...
I don't even remember those.

I had/have the pictures for staggered courdoroy and I submitted them, but they were rejected because the mod didn't know which order the pictures went in? I'll try the emporors maille I apparently volunteered to do, but I haven't done POV RAY in almost a year Sad

This thread is kinda dead isn't it? Regardless, I've submitted a tut for Helm Chain, which hasn't made its way to the main list (aparantly last updated in 2004)

I plan on doing some others that I've already constructed which don't have tuts, or that I do differently somehow.

I'll try trizantine and boxchain... I really want to do those since they are my favorite weaves... BTW... I noticed today (when I learned boxchain by messing around and screwing up E4-1) that a boxchain looks alot like full persian... actually I checked and it IS persian. am i right?

It's similar to Full Persian, but the connections are different. Also, Boxchain is a 4:1, whereas Full Persian is a 6:1.

I unstickied this as it'd been two years. If there's to be a new challenge or whatnot, new thread or revive this one. But, it's not so useful as to require sticking anymore in my opinion.
