Maybe turning it sideways would help.. I've got a sheet piece about the right size to try that, so I'll give it a go. |

Back again with another request. I found this page while surfing:
http://dragonscale.ath.cx:88/mail/bracelet.html
A little less than halfway down there's an interesting weave called "Faery Trap" - thsi pocture isn't all that clear, but it looks like maybe 3 ring sizes... Anybody interested in taking a shot at describing how to make it?
Thanks! |

I've been meaning to do an article on captured marbles for sculpture. Oh, alright, you twisted my arm. I'll try to do that tonight, or in the next few days at least. |

Iam wondering how you capture marbles for candle holders and such,I have friend whose birthday is coming up soon and i wanted to try and give her a pair of small candle holders as a present.
Iam also trying my first covered bottle with expanding rows but havent gotten it yet but its close i just have to dismantle the whole piece and start over to get it right

Yeah, that's what I was looking for. I must have somehow missed it the first time around. Unfortunately, the 3/8 ID I'm using looks like it might be too tight. The 45 degree seams should take care of it. I had already tried it and decided against it, but I only had about half the triangle pieces you suggested. Thanks. |

You mean to make the top of the head? Well we have two articles in the weaves section on how to do that. There is a another one at the old sight that hasn't been resubmitted. Plus a couple of articles that can be applied to this problem. (Like the one on making 45 degree angles in 4-1. Just do it with 5-6 triangles and there you go, lovely top with all the expansions taken care of.) For a coif and mantle all you usually need are those circular expansions. Is that the sort of information you need? |

I really need a good description on expansion rows, as in what's used in European four in one coifs. I've seen it somewhere, but it was before this site changed, and now I can't seem to find it. I did find it in a link somewhere, but the instructions weren't that detailed, and the picture didn't tell me anything. It would be great to have some closeup three dimensional pictures, where the expansion rings are different colors or something. |

I sized them all and gave them to both woody and mari. So they should be available to everybody soonish. But I'm not sure if one you give in will be automatically sized or not.

Nice looking avatar Uprising. Do those pictures need to be sized appropiatly prior to submission, or is that taken care of by someone/thing? Here's one request down. We now have 6-1 boxchain in the weave section, as well as a construction article to go with it. |
