Ring Cutting Jig Advice

I'm in the process of building a hauberk from mild steel wire. The rings are about .25" outside diameter. I buy the wire from Home Depot, and have a jig to wind it with. But I'm still cutting all the rings by hand.

I've tried cut off wheels on a Dremel, but they wear out too fast (if they don't shatter).

I've tried looking on YouTube for cutting jig ideas, but have yet to find a video that shows HOW a functional jig is put together, or for one that will cut springs over 6 inches long. I usually wind a spring about 2 1/2 feet long before I cut it.

I still have approximately another 800 feet of wire to cut, so I'm open to suggestions.

Truth simply is. Whether you can accept it or not is irrelevant.

Here is a link to the tools section of the gallery.

Hope that this helps you find some answers
