Variation? The tut I made was for the base weave.

So, not the One in the pictures in the first post?

Correct.

This is because HP3-1 kinda makes a V cross section. Half Persian 3 in 1 shows this cross section with the top of the V against the table. In order to make mithrilweaver's weave, you need to build the sheet off the top/bottom of the V, not the sides. Working off the sides will produce that variant shown in the first post.

I can try and describe the various orientations further if this doesn't make sense.

*Pokes everyone*

Anyone make it yet?
I've started testing the min AR, and my sample at AR of 6.3 can still lay flat (currently at a 5x5 sheet). These were some 0.035" x 0.220" aluminum rings (0.012" saw cut, 13/64" mandrel).
The rings are right up against each other, but they might be able to shift around to become AR locked (Spiral 4-1 into JPL)... except there doesn't appear to be any fundamental change.

Anyways, I'd say 6.3 is the minimum.

It's near the end of January and all I managed was a four rows wide piece with errors. The tutorial is excellent and easy enough to follow, this weave is just deceptively difficult to assemble. I understand the concept behind it, but sometimes I accidentally add a ring the wrong way. I haven't touched it in a few weeks and will promptly add it to the may or may not get back to it list/pile.
