I was not sure if this should be a Gallery Discussion or Weave Discussion, so please move if need be.

Anyway; I have seen a lot of variations of Half Persian 3 in 1 and done a few of them.

I thought it would be fun to have a place to share some of our fav HP3 variations (if there is already a thread like this, please let me know).

So here are some I have done. Some I have shared on here elsewhere, but figured I'd share all in one place again Smile

This one is a sample of Gnosis; I used all 16g SWG 5/16 BA and AA rings -

I am not sure if this one has an official name; it is pretty much bolted units of HP 3-1. It was sort of an accident, but I like how it looked.

I think I used 16g SWG 1/4 and 18g SWG 3/16 rings here -

Here we have HP 3-1 with alternating ring sizes. I love this one and it took me a while to figure it out. The way I do it is pretty much one ring at a time.

In these samples I used 16g SWG 1/4 and 5/16 for the one at the top and then 1/4 and 3/8 for the one at the bottom.

I will see if I have anymore ... looking forward to seeing some you all have done Smile

Cylon is another one I have been meaning to try.

I also want to do some Half Persian 3 Sheet 6 in 1.

I like BBB's Zeela too (BBB's pic below) -

I was recently on a King's quest, doubling as many weaves as I thought were reasonable to. Along the way I made some pieces of Half Persian 6 in 2.

At an AR of 6.2 it can be infinitely expanded, but curling is inevitable.

At an AR of 6.6, it lays flat, but can only be flexed much one way.

It's quite open at an AR of 7.8.

This is double Half Persian 3 in 1, but it's not Double Half Persian 3 in 1.

There is no such thing as weave ownership. If someone produces a weave sample, they own that physical piece of mail, but not rights to the weave pattern itself.

I dug up a Cylon bracelet I made many years ago. It's a pretty weave. I shined it up and took a picture of it today.

Made with 18awg (1.0mm)/4.25mm AR=4.3 copper and 18awg (1.0mm)/6.5mm AR=7.0 anodized niobium rings.

Also, check out the awful closures and the tooth-marked rings! Surprised

This is a keychain I made with One and a Half Half Persian 3 in 1

(And it is also in the Gallery)

I'm rather fond of One and a Half Half Persian 3 in 1; I like the threefold symmetry of it.
Even though it took me multiple tries to get it right. Yes, even with a tutorial!

I was experimenting with alternating Dragontail with half persian segments the other day, i used 0.062" 5/16", 1/4", and 3/16" stainless steel for this sample. http://www.flickr.com/photos/68156782@N02/10282665606/
