Hehe, if the theme becomes "toys" do adult toys count? *innocent smile*

I'd say they'd count. I was just imagining non-adult toy's made of maille, but in the end it'd just be up to the voters to decide if they'd count adult toys.
Also,
Is it bad that I'm trying to think up entries for the different possible contests thus far even though voting for what the contest is goning to be isn't even open yet. Razz

No, I am too. But first I'll have to decide what to vote for once we can, so many good suggestions this round, I'm going to have a hard time.

Agreed, sadly.

Depends on what it is, we've long allowed floggers, and bikini's... Use your common sense... And if you wouldn't post it on Facebook, you probably shouldn't post it here Smile

Yeah, I was just going to say if you wouldn't mind your 8 year old kid seeing it on the kitchen table then it's probably okay... but then not everyone has the same idea what's appropriate for an 8 year old to see. Razz

I kinda knew that was the answer when I posted it. And I do have very skewed perspectives on what I'd allow eight year old kids to see. Wink

Nothing personal, Jax, but you are no longer allowed to be around my 8-ear-old. Razz

I was allowed to be near your 8 year old before? Damnit! I missed my chance to warp another one. Oh well....

Honestly, people are far too prudish in this country. Wink

this thread was posted nearly a month ago.

DL, i don't want to rush you, but if you're not close could we just have this contest and get the changes ready for the next?

if not, what is your ETA?

Honestly, at the end of the day whatever everybody wants...
I'm just trying to prevent another fiasco, and Lorraine getting bombarded with PMs again.

These are supposed to be fun, and if a month or two without one will help it be more fun for everyone with less arguing all around, that's the direction I'd rather work in.

If the consensus is to move ahead old school, then go for it. Don't feel like I'm holding y'all back. Coif LoL

As for my ETA, I don't really have one... There's shenanigans at work that I can't really go into... But it's eating a lot of my free time of late... As usual, "soon" is my best estimate.

Good idea, Lorraine. Now we can all get busy, and DL can be relieved of any time pressure. We'll look forward to the updated version next time around--- Thanks!

Well, there are lots of things to vote on already, but what the heck- I'll second furniture.

There is no such thing as weave ownership. If someone produces a weave sample, they own that physical piece of mail, but not rights to the weave pattern itself.
