http://www.mailleartisans.org/gallery/
lists "art:other" as having 15 entries, and

http://www.mailleartisans.org/gallery/gallerylist.php?tags=Art
comes up blank.

Recommend you Index by Tag (New System)
Index by Category (Old System) is so old, it has forgotten how to count.

Also, per the header, you should be submitting bug reports: http://www.mailleartisans.org/board/viewtopic.php?t=16435

When the tag list is cleaned up, can architecture be added? Pretty please with sugar on top. I know there isn't much yet because it's such a niche application, but certainly a valid one.

there is sculpture. How do you view architecture and sculpture being different? About the only difference I would see would be maille housing, but are you thinking of anything else. Just curious.

i then clicked a primary link in the body of the page..

am i doin it wrong?

i guess i was trying to ask the gallery admins if this was one of the tagging errors a couple of people mentioned, before i went to you about it.

Sculpture is broad and covers a lot of ground. Flower is a similar example of a category/tag in which most of the entries are sculptural.

The category wouldn't have a lot in it, yet (around five entries), but then neither does, say, furniture, e.g.

Not wholly necessary, I suppose. By cleaning up the tag list, I think lorraine wants to downsize. And here I go pushing to add another tag.

David, if you promise to continue filling the gallery with lots of awesome examples of architecture, I will promise to add it as a tag! Deal?

Oh I don't know whether I should really concur - for me something like a window curtain, a rain chain, a fireplace curtain and so are more architectural examples. Models of architecture are in my opinion part of the sculpture category, else an inlay showing a castle would be architecture as well. To be honest: I doubt that 'Architecture' as tag makes much sense.

ZiLi: if disagreeing were a profession, it would be one in which you would excel.

lorraine: I promise to continue filling the gallery with lots of awesome examples of architecture, so long as we are a little lenient on our definition of 'lots', as they do take awhile to design and make, and I want to continue making other stuff too.

There it's official. Now we will get the architecture tag and there's nothing you, ZiLi, can do about it. So neener neener neener. Coif LoL

And just as an inlay of a flower would be tagged under flower, so would an inlay of an architecture be tagged as architecture.

Again, we seem to disagree. Anyway: Before bloating the tag list, before all content is tagged properly, we should consolitate the list first, by removal of redundant and unused tags that don't make sense. After that, even I will surely find some possible new tags, to take part in the bloating - for example the tag 'stretchy' or 'elastic' could be added, fitting to the current contest...

But please, never forget the basic intent of that database reorganization with tagging: It shall improve the database useability, to find easily items that share one (or several combined) feature(s). Exaggerated tag bloating imho doesn't serve that purpose.
